DOBOT CR20A OVERVIEW
The Dobot CR20A, with a 20 kg payload and 1700 mm reach, is a 6-axis arm designed to handle heavy-duty tasks in industrial environments.
The CR20A is designed for the most demanding collaborative tasks, such as palletizing, welding, and heavy material handling. At 73 kg with a 2 m/s max TCP (Tool Center Point) speed, it's built to move real industrial loads without giving up the safety features to work alongside people and ease of deployment that define the CRA line.
HOW DOES DOBOT CR20A WORK?
The CR20A uses Dobot's integrated joint design and EtherCAT bus communication to coordinate all 6 axes with millisecond-level response time to enable controlled and stable motion even under heavy load.
It has an industry-first dual-channel end-effector design that allows CRA20 to plug directly into multiple end tools, and a visual status indicator at the base that gives an at-a-glance read on operating state.
Built-in force and collision-detection sensors continuously monitor for unexpected contact, automatically slowing or stopping the arm if it senses an obstacle or person nearby, allowing the CR20A cobot to run without a safety cage even at 20kg payload class.
